Hi. My name is Mary Beth and I’m addicted to collecting frames.
Now, being a photographer you’d think that I have them all filled and on my walls right?
In fact, the last time I actually made a point of photographing all four of my kids (besides snapshots) in the same day was last summer. (Just go ahead and nominate me for Worst Mother of the Year award right now.) I have these three frames that I literally bought YEARS ago and they are propped up on the dresser in our bedroom with those lovely generic photos in them. Not the “sentimental chic” look I was going for – more like “unfinished, sterile hospital art”. They hold a total of 27 vertical photos – so the other day I set out to get some photos to fill them up. The goal is to get them on the wall THIS WEEK!
Here is a little of what I captured. I love all their unique expressions and personalities so much!
How can you possibly take her pouting seriously? I crack up every time! Definitely a little side of her I never want to forget.
Then… 3 seconds later… silly girl.
It is almost a shame to show photographs of him in b&w because he has his Daddy’s amazing blue eyes.
And our second-oldest is now as tall as me – in fifth grade!
And our oldest – who will be driving in two years. It is insane how quickly the years go by.
Now on to filling the other 20-30 frames I have tucked away.
